So, we are now in 2016 and after a tough 2015, it’s time to put the wrongs right.
To start with, I’m improving my skills in Web Development and hope to be starting my first website project of the year in the next week or so. I’m really excited about this project, seeing as I hope it’ll be the start of something good. Details about this project (and others once established) to come soon.
So far progress regarding the Web Development refresher is going well and I hope that continues as I head through January. I hope to apply the skills that I have learnt from this training in order to become a stronger Web Developer – that is my ultimate goal this year.
Without putting too much pressure on myself, 2016 I feel is a big year, almost make-or-break. It’s incredible in some ways to think that I am now 25 years old. So while I’m still young overall, time is not really on my side to start making changes and getting that all important break within my desired industry.
I believe these projects will create the platform needed to perform better and achieve my main above goal.
In other news, I’m hoping to get back to hockey training soon after a rather long injury lay-off and so far have been working hard to build up the necessary muscles and strength again. The physiotherapist has certainly given me some important exercises and thus work to do! My aim is to enter the 2016/2017 season in the strongest form and fitness possible. Also, I’m back to playing the guitar regularly again, after drifting in and out of it due to work commitments. I just love playing it, especially when you have one hell of an amp, which blasts out some awesome sound!
Stay tuned for more!
