Marathon training

So I plan to run the London Marathon either in 2017 or 2018.  Started training for it last Saturday (25th April 2015).

So far so good but training to run 26.2 miles is going to be tough!  That distance is a lot even for cycling so imagine what it must feel like having to run it!

Thankfully where I live there are plenty of fields and tracks, coupled with beautiful views of the countryside.  It makes running I feel much more fun and better still, there is hardly anyone walking around the places where I go and run so there are no unnecessary distractions.

I hope to make good progress this year and next and will keep you updated on how things go. Stay tuned.
